DEMOCRATIC TORTURED LOGIC ON THE TROOPS
I cannot believe people swallow the nonsense that Democrats use to fake their support for the troops. Every time I hear them say, I support the troops but I don’t support the war I want to scream, “What a boat load of crap.” Through such logic the democrats think they are demonstrating their support for the troops. It’s a lie, they don’t support the troops and no matter how many times they repeat the lie it doesn’t change what they do.
You cannot separate your support for an institution from the purpose and work of that institution. Need an example? I support the Red Cross but I don’t support the work of the Red Cross. If we heard someone say that we would think, “what are you some kind of nut, if you don’t support the work of the Red Cross, don’t say you support the Red Cross.”
Think about it for a moment, what is the work and purpose of the military? According to the army field manual, “The Army’s nonnegotiable contract with the American people is to fight and win our Nation’s wars.” Now if that is their work and purpose how can the Democrats say I support the troops and not support what they do?
Through their murky logic they think you can separate the people of an organization from the work of the organization. Suppose I say I support the Red Cross worker but I don’t support what they do? To which any intelligent person would think, “How can you do that because they are one in the same thing.” We all understand if you work for the Red Cross institution then you have accepted the purpose of that institution. Therefore you cannot make a distinction between people of an institution and what they do. Either we support them and what they do or we don’t.
Neither can we separate a people of an organization from the leadership of the organization. The Democrats would like you to think that the war is the result of bad leadership so in that way they can say, “we support the troops but we don’t support the war because it’s the result of bad leadership.” However, that is equivalent to saying, “Because the leadership of the Red Cross made a bad decision I do not support the work of the Red Cross.” If you really and truly supported the Red Cross that would be a dumb thing to say would it not? You would understand the work of Red Cross needs to go on while you remedy the leadership issue.
However, is that the way the Democrats have behaved? They debate resolutions that condemn the work of the troops and ponder cutting off support for them so they can stop what they are doing as they say, “we support the troops.” Don’t be fooled, for words to be true they must be matched by actions that back up those words; otherwise they are nothing more than a lie.
